Parker Boucher is a wildlife ecologist for the National Park Service. He works in the Carson National Forest in New Mexico, a place he knows very well, as it's where he was found when he was just a few days old. Raised by friends of the man who found him, a man he now calls boss, Parker's story is just as mysterious as the strange occurrences suddenly plaguing the forest he loves. Campers chased from the woods, children going missing; will Parker figure out what's going on before it's too late, or will he become a victim of the terrifying creature himself?
